“Assorted Idols” is an array of vigilant characters playfully referencing ancient Egyptian art. Each idol was created to engage the viewer in a lighthearted and imaginary encounter with something lost then found. Like a faintly perceptible vestige, this work venerates the enduring traces of our kept sense of wonder.
